A Day at the Park

The past two weeks we have really been enjoying the weather. It has been so beautiful and warm you would never guess it was January. I think we even made it up to 69 last week but for the most part we have been hovering in the mid 60’s. We had to take advantage of the weather and head out to the park.

I had to document Emmalyn’s first trip to the park. Even though it was warm for the time of year she was still wrapped in a blanket and had a hat on inside her stroller. Kaitlyn’s favorite thing to do at the park (and at school) is the monkey bars. She did them so often at the beginning of the school year that she had blisters for more than a month. She just wouldn't lay off of the monkey bars and couldn't understand why her hands wouldn't heal, she now has strong calloused hands. Spencer also loves the monkey bars. He is so proud of himself now that he can go all the way across the long one with out falling.

Hannah’s favorite thing to do at the park is the slide. Her favorite one was the tallest twistiest slide at the park. The first picture is her getting off the end of the slide so that you can see really how big the slide is that she loved going down.
